Axis Music & Your Community
Axis Music Academy is proud to hold an active role in our community. We take pride in our credentials as Michigan's only State Licensed Proprietory Music School & Apple Authorized Training Center. No other organization in our great state of Michigan has these credentials, and we are honored to bring them to Oakland and Wayne County.
Our community schools, our kids, and our relationships with Program Directors, Principals, and Executives are very important to our organization. Through these personal relationships, Axis Music Academy creates additional value in our children's media classes, after school programs, and special events year round. We take advantage of every opportunity to offer our resources to our community schools and to create additional value for our kids and parents working together.
Through our memberships with the Local Chambers of Commerce, Axis Music Academy has established close relationships with our community business network. Attending scheduled mixers, special events, and cross promotional functions, our organization actively seeks innovative ways of creating additional value in our community. We are a strong believer in business innovation and working together with local business owners to further our community's commercial development.
In 2012, Axis Music Academy started working much closer with some of our local universities. At Madonna University, an Instructor and Affiliate of Axis Music Academy has been contracted to teach Final Cut Pro X in a Media Class this Fall. At Wayne State University, Axis Music Academy in Southfield employed three music business interns this summer. Currently, Executive Management is in preliminary discussions to increase our involvement in our local colleges, providing additional value to their Multi-Media Programs. This initiative will provide additional internship opportunities to local college students and job placement opportunities to recent college graduates.
Axis Music Academy firmly believes in playing an active role assisting in the development of our local college students, and providing opportunity to succeed in our community. Colleges that have been contacted thus far include Lawrence Tech, Oakland Community College, School Craft, and Eastern Michigan University.
